THE DISHWASHER LESSON
I was about to run my dishwasher when I realized it wouldn't start. After closing it and pressing the start button, it kept blinking. I soon noticed that the door wasn't properly closed. I opened it again and checked the trays and other parts to ensure everything was in the right place and nothing hindered the door from closing. Despite my efforts—repeatedly opening, adjusting, and closing the door—it still didn't start.
I began to worry that the dishwasher might be broken. I considered the cost of a new one and thought, "Hell no, this is not the time for such expenses." I resolved to tell my husband or check the internet to troubleshoot the problem.
I continued with my kitchen activities, and when it was time to pack the food I had made into a container for refrigeration, I realized the lid was in the dishwasher. I went to retrieve it from the front of the upper tray. Suddenly, it struck me: maybe this was why the dishwasher wouldn't close. I removed the lid and another large lid, and voila, the dishwasher closed and started working. I was so happy.
When things aren't working in our lives or we are in a waiting season, the devil may engage us with thoughts like, "Maybe there's something fundamentally wrong with me, " We then become too afraid to try again. The truth is, You have what you need for the next level in life; you need a rearrangement, better management, and a little tweaking.
Moses always had the rod. David always had the sling. Sometimes, the problem isn't as complicated as it seems; we need God to open our eyes. Hagar was by the well, yet she was thirsty.
You might be waiting on God for marriage, a job, a child—whatever your waiting season looks like. It may seem like you're stuck and your life is on hold. But God is saying, go forward. Don't be overwhelmed by the challenge. Keep living, getting ready, cleaning your area, and doing what you must while waiting for your miracle.
In the process of doing your best, by the Spirit of God, you will figure out what needs to be put in place to move from your waiting season into your winning season.
KEEP MOVING!
