The Education and Spiritual Empowerment Directorate is heeded by Dcn Elijah Oluwapojuwo.
Elijah gave his life to Christ in 1993 and since then has been serving the Lord in various Christians fellowships, mission groups and church denominations; fulfilling the call of God upon his life as a worship leader, an instrumentalist, a missionary and a teacher of the word.
In the course of serving the Lord, he was privileged to be ordained a deacon in RCCG, Nigeria in 2007 and a pastor in TBOLF, Oman in 2013. As a missionary, he has served among different unreached people groups and nations including Nigeria, Middle East, India and Canada. Since his relocation to Canada in 2016, he has been serving in RCCG Rehoboth Assembly Calgary in various ministries including, Choir, Sunday School, Youth, Teenagers, Prayer and Evangelism. He currently heads the Christian Education and Spiritual Empowerment Directorate of the assembly.
Elijah holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Master of Business Administration. He is a project management professional with over 24 years’ experience across the globe managing various types of projects. He is happily married to his wife Comfort and they are blessed with four Godly children; Isaac, Asher, Susanna and John, who all love God and are faithfully serving God together with their parents.
