The Children’s Department is the Department that oversees the care of the children who attend the Rehoboth Assembly. It comprises of children that are below 12 years of age. These children usually have their parents also attending the Rehoboth Assembly. However there may be cases where the parents do not attend.

The Children’s Department has a special attention with God because this is the place where future generals, champions and leaders in the kingdom are being formed and nurtured to fulfil destiny. Therefore we take the ministry very seriously.

It is important to note that the Children’s Department is not just place where children are ‘kept busy’ while their parents attend church but it is a place where valuable spiritual deposits are made into the lives of the children.

The Vision of the Children’s Department is based on the scripture in Proverbs 22:6 - “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. Therefore the Children’s Department focuses on getting the kids to know God and His ways as early as possible.

In order to achieve this, the Children’s Department aims to:
  1. Introduce God and His ways to Children in a fun and loving environment.
  2. Help children know about key characters in the Bible and their stories.
  3. Learn good Christian songs to help them love the Church
  4.  Teach them Christian Character and Behavior through games and customized teaching methods.
  5. Help children to start memorizing scriptures and showing them ways of keeping the Word of God in their hearts
